I gotta tell it to you straight. Nothing's changing, if nothing's changing.

Here are some simple tips:

Low energy is likely being caused by hormone imbalance & chronic stress. A simple way to pick yourself up is to balance your blood sugar with is crucial for hormone balance:

  • Eat within an hour of waking with a protein, fat & fiber
  • Eat every 3-4 hours
  • Add protein at every meal and likely more than you think 30-40 grams each meal.

Sis, there is no such thing as becoming "toned." What you think is toned is muscle and you aren't going to get it with hours of cardio or lifting 3-5 pound weights day in and day out.

To get the body sculpting benefits of strength training, you must be consistent with a program that incorporates all the major movement patterns: squat, lunge, hinge, push, pull & locomotion AND progressive overload. This means getting better overtime with more resistance, more difficulty or more volume.

If you are experiencing cravings--see above. Most women are not eating enough protein. It's not the magic cure all but protein increases satiety, helps with blood sugar, reduces cravings and helps build muscle.

Another uncomfortable truth. Losing that 20 pounds isn't going to magically erase all of your lifelong negative beliefs about your body.

Even if you lose weight, you might be surprised that you still have mean girl thoughts about yourself and feel insecure. Being happy with your body starts inside.
